Evnex E2 - 5m (clearance)

We are selling our E2— 5m through our installer channel only, so there is no RRP.

This original E2 charger will be discontinued once stock is exhausted. The features of this charger are identical to the E2 Plus— aside from the tether being 5m instead of 8m.

The Evnex E2 is a single-phase EV charger that combines NZ-made build quality with cutting-edge smart features. The E2 is a 7.4kW charger, providing up to 50km of charge to your car every hour.

QLD installations

For customers located in QLD, the QECM requires chargers with nameplate ratings greater than 20 amps to have device management installed.

Evnex has implemented an option for QLD customers where the nameplate rating is reduced to 20 amps during commissioning, therefore not requiring device management. Learn more here.

Do Evnex chargers offer solar integration?

Yes, all Evnex chargers have solar integration as a standard feature.

When enabled, solar diversion will identify when unused locally generated energy is being exported to the grid, and instead use this to charge your EV — slowing the charge to match the exported solar.

If you wish to charge at full speed, but don't have enough available solar energy, you can override this with our “Charge Now” feature — topping up the remainder from the grid.

Do you offer installation, and what's included?

Yes, we install our chargers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our network of local, friendly, professional electricians is well-trained on our products and can offer expert advice on all your charging needs. Following your installation, we'll provide ongoing support — whether you're an EV driver, business owner, or fleet manager.

How do I control my charger?

The Evnex Driver App is designed to give you complete control and transparency over charging behaviour. You can use it to set up smart scheduling and solar diversion, to check how green the grid is, and much more.

Is it compatible with my EV?

Evnex chargers are compatible with all electric vehicle makes and models (bar a very small number of older models). The type of plug your EV uses (Type 1 or Type 2) will determine the specific charger model you need.
