Last year, Evnex opened a donation fund for $15,000 worth of EV charging hardware and installation services to worthy NZ charities; helping reach decarbonisation goals across all tiers of local organisations.
The next round of Charge Our Charities is kicking off with applications now open until 31/5/23.

About the program
Why Charity Donations?
The intention of this program is to support the use and uptake of electric vehicles within the NZ charitable sector; leading to positive outcomes relating to decarbonisation.
Often these organisations do not have funds to support the wider adoption of electric vehicles. As a local designer, manufacturer, and installer of EV charge points in New Zealand, Evnex is well positioned to donate complete end-to-end EV charging systems which we hope will help lower the barrier of entry for recipient charities.

Applying for the program
Following our initial giveaway to kickstart the Charge Our Charities initiative, all registered New Zealand charities will be welcome to apply to access the fund and be considered for donation of an EV charging package.
Applications will be available and accepted on a quarterly basis following April 1st 2022, with one Evnex EV charge point (including installation) donated per quarter each year. The selection of recipients will be conducted via an internal panel, including Evnex employees and an independent observer.

Applications are Open (Round 2, 2023)
The second round of the Charging Our Charities fund is currently open! We are accepting applications through 11:59PM May 31 2023. Please only submit on behalf of a registered charity if you are an employee or representative of the organisation. However, you are welcome to share this online application directly with a charity if you think they would benefit from a donated EV charging package.
We will be announcing the chosen charity from the second round of the Charging Our Charities fund in June of 2023. We look forward to receiving your application!
