A typical charging session costs $3–$5. That's a fraction of what you'd pay at a public charger or the petrol pump.
Plug in. Wake up. Go
Evnex chargers find the cheapest power automatically. All you need to do is plug in.
Got solar? Put the excess to work
Excess solar goes straight to your car before it hits the grid. No solar yet? Off-peak scheduling still saves you from day one.

Smart charging FAQs

Still have questions?
Will my Polestar be compatible with an Evnex charger?

Yes. Every Evnex charger works with the full Polestar range, from the Polestar 2 through to the Polestar 4.

What's the difference between the E2 Flex and the E2 Core?

The E2 Flex doesn’t come with a cable hook, Amber integration, or solar smarts, and doesn’t function as a client within multi-charger management set-ups. The E2 Core does come with these features.

However, the E2 Flex can be upgraded to unlock solar smarts for a one-off fee of $349.

Can I add solar to the E2 Flex later? How does that work and how much does it cost?

Yes. The E2 Flex comes without solar smarts, but you can add this for a one-time fee of $349. The upgrade to solar is a software update, so there's no need for an electrician to return to your home and tinker with the charger again.

If you're planning on getting solar soon, we'd recommend purchasing an E2 Core or E2 Plus, as these come with solar smarts built in.

Does Evnex handle installation for my Polestar, and what's included?

Yes. A registered Evnex installer handles the full job, from switchboard checks to mounting and testing the charger. You'll get an itemised quote upfront so you know exactly what's covered.

What is home overload protection?

It's a built-in safety feature that monitors your home's total power draw and manages charging accordingly, so your Polestar never puts your switchboard at risk.
