4x faster than a wall plug

Say goodbye to trickle charging. The E2 Plus adds up to 50km of range per hour, so you actually get to take advantage of your off-peak tariffs.

Turn sunshine into kilometres

If your solar panels generate more than you can use, the E2 Plus automatically diverts that excess solar energy to your EV.

Charging that’s cheaper than a flat white

A typical charging session costs $3–$5. That's a fraction of what you'd pay at a public charger or the petrol pump.

What makes the E2 Plus different?

The E2 Plus is our single-phase home EV charger with all the bells and whistles. Add up to 50km of range per hour, with a few extras that make it yours.
Reach further with an 8m Type 2 cable
Always online, with 4G backup when your Wi-Fi is spotty
Four colour options to suit your home
Drive a Tesla? Check your battery level and open the charge port directly from the Evnex app
All I have to do is plug it in and Evnex takes care of the rest. Haven't paid anything to charge my car since I got it.

SOLAR DIVERSION

Charge from the sun

In solar mode, the E2 Plus will use your excess solar energy to charge your car. Free energy from your roof, straight into your EV.
When the sun goes down, your E2 Plus will seamlessly blend grid or home battery power to charge
Want to change a setting? The app gives you control over everything.

HOME OVERLOAD PROTECTION

Charging that won't blow a fuse

Home overload protection slows or stops charging if power use in your home gets too high
Other home chargers draw full power regardless of what else is running in your house. The E2 Plus monitors your total power load in real time and adjusts automatically, so you'll never trip a breaker or overload your switchboard.
AUTOMATIC CHARGING SCHEDULES

Plug in, put your feet up

Plug in anytime and the E2 Plus will automatically start and stop charging your car based on your preferences.
Automatically fetches your actual energy tariffs from your power company and designs a personalised charging schedule automatically.
Check or adjust your charging schedule at any time with the Evnex app. The E2 Plus LED ring also shows you charging status at a glance.
Set it to charge from solar, or wait for off-peak rates when grid power costs next to nothing.
MOBILE APP

Manage it all from your phone

Check your charging schedule, track your costs and see where your energy came from, all without having to leave your couch.
Multiple drivers? No problem. Everyone in your home can connect their phone to the E2 Plus
See exactly where your energy came from (grid or solar), how much it cost and when your next charge is scheduled
Drive a Tesla? The E2 Plus talks directly to your car, so you can check your battery level and open the charge port all from the Evnex app.

Smart charging FAQs

Still have questions?
How much does installation usually cost?

You can choose to get your Evnex charger installed via us, or purchase the charger on its own and get your preferred electrician to install it.

Our base price for install starts from $901 (plus the cost of the charger). This price assumes you have a simple installation; as a rough guide, this usually means you're installing the charger within 1 metre of your switchboard, and it's on the ground floor of your home.

Install price will vary with added complexity. You can read more about what goes into installation pricing here, or get a quick, obligation-free quote online here.

What is home overload protection?

A standard home EV charger, like ours, draws about 32 amps. To put this in perspective:

  • Your washing machine uses about 10 amps
  • An air conditioner might use 20 amps
  • An induction cooktop can use up to 32 amps

This means if you’re using a lot of other electrical appliances — e.g. a heat pump, oven, lights, and dishwasher — then charging your EV on top of this could cause an overload.

When your charger is installed, it will be set up with overload protection: this allows the charger to monitor your home's power supply and adjust charging speed to prevent overloading your circuits and tripping the power.

All Evnex chargers come with overload protection, so you can keep your home or business safe while charging.

You can read more about home overloads and how to prevent them here.

What's the difference between the E2 Flex and the E2 Core?

The E2 Flex doesn’t come with a cable hook, Amber integration, or solar smarts, and doesn’t function as a client within multi-charger management set-ups. The E2 Core does come with these features.

However, the E2 Flex can be upgraded to unlock solar smarts for a one-off fee of $349.

Can I add solar to the E2 Flex later? How does that work and how much does it cost?

Yes. The E2 Flex comes without solar smarts, but you can add this for a one-time fee of $349. The upgrade to solar is a software update, so there's no need for an electrician to return to your home and tinker with the charger again.

If you're planning on getting solar soon, we'd recommend purchasing an E2 Core or E2 Plus, as these come with solar smarts built in.

How fast will an Evnex charger charge my vehicle?

As a rough guide, our 7.4kW chargers (the E2 range) will get you up to 50km of range per hour of charging.

The X22 can get you up to 120km of range per hour of charging.

However, the charging speed of your vehicle depends on several factors including the model of your vehicle, its battery size, the electrical capacity of your home, and the type of charger you use.

For personalised recommendations and to find the best solution for your charging needs, please contact our sales team. They’ll be able to help you choose the optimal setup for your vehicle and home.

Can I add solar to the E2 Flex later?

Yes. The E2 Flex comes without solar smarts, but you can add this for a one-time fee of $399. The upgrade to solar is a software update, so there's no need for an electrician to return to your home and tinker with the charger again.

The E2 Flex will pull power from the grid, plus solar if you have it — but doesn't have the solar smarts required to control solar charging like our other chargers do. You can unlock solar smarts on your E2 Flex for a small fee.

If you're planning on getting solar soon, we'd recommend purchasing an E2 Core or E2 Plus, as these come with solar smarts built in.

Will this work with my EV?

Yes, all Evnex chargers are compatible with the vast majority of EVs.

If you have an unusual make, or have an import requiring a Type 1 charging cable, reach out to our sales team (sales@evnex.com) and they'll discuss how we can best meet your needs.

Do you offer installation, and what's included?

Yes, we install our chargers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our network of local, friendly, professional electricians is well-trained on our products and can offer expert advice on all of your charging needs.

Install price will vary with added complexity. You can read more about what goes into installation pricing here, or get a quick, obligation-free quote online here.

Following your installation, we'll provide ongoing support — whether you're an EV driver, business owner, or fleet manager.

How fast will an Evnex charger charge my vehicle?

As a rough guide, our 7.4kW chargers (the E2 range and the X7) will get you up to 50km of range per hour of charging.

The X22 can get you up to 120km of range per hour of charging.

However, the charging speed of your vehicle depends on several factors including the model of your vehicle, its battery size, the electrical capacity of your home, and the type of charger you use.
