Evnex X7 (trade)

RRP is $1,595 including GST.

The Evnex X7 is a single-phase 7.4kW charger with three-phase monitoring. This means it’s capable of solar charging based on the total export across all phases of the incoming supply.

Being a single-phase charger, the X7 only requires 1.5kW of solar export for solar charging to commence, so it's ideal for customers who do not export large amounts of energy.

Use cases:

  • Ideal for single/dual/three-phase homes.
  • Suits customers seeking solar diversion, which allows for total export across all phases of supply.
  • Wi-Fi, 4G, or ethernet connectivity must be available.
  • Choice of two colours — Stone or Snow.

The X7 has either a 5m tethered or a socket option. Should your installation require a longer tether, you can purchase an additional charge cable up to 10m and purchase our socket option.

The X7 is a 7.4kW charger capable of adding up to 50km of range per hour of charge.

  • Home overload protection — slowing or pausing chargers if the incoming supply is at risk of overloading.
  • Comprehensive support — our support team is in New Zealand and can connect to chargers remotely to assist with account setup, commissioning, and charger settings for you and your customers.
  • Tesla API – state of charge will be included in reporting. You can see it in action here. Please note the X7 does not have the charge flap opening feature.
  • Multi-charger load management — The X7 can share available supply across multiple Evnex chargers.
  • You can deep dive on our features in the Evnex Knowledge Hub.

Connectivity

  • All Evnex chargers require connection to our cloud once every 28 days
  • This connectivity allows drivers to control their charger and uploads diagnostics so our team can provide exceptional support
  • If a charger loses connection for less than 28 days, the charger will function as it has been set up to do
  • The X-series has Wi-Fi, 4G, or ethernet connectivity options

QLD installations

For customers located in QLD, the QECM requires chargers with nameplate ratings greater than 20 amps to have device management installed.

Evnex has implemented an option for QLD customers where the nameplate rating is reduced to 20 amps during commissioning, therefore not requiring device management. Learn more here.
