Yes. Every Evnex charger works with the full Polestar range, from the Polestar 2 through to the Polestar 4.
Every Polestar has an 11 kW onboard AC charger. Paired with an E2 on single-phase power, you'll get up to 50km/hr of range. Paired with an X22 on three-phase power, you'll get the full speed your Polestar can take, up to 120km/hr.
Yes. The X22 is our three-phase charger and it's the one to choose if you want to use the full 11 kW your Polestar can accept. Most homes on single-phase power get excellent results from an E2.
The E2 Flex doesn’t come with a cable hook or solar smarts, and doesn’t function as a client within multi-charger management set-ups. The E2 Core does come with these features.
However, the E2 Flex can be upgraded to unlock solar smarts for a one-off fee of $349.
Yes. The E2 Flex comes without solar smarts, but you can add this for a one-time fee of $349. The upgrade to solar is a software update, so there's no need for an electrician to return to your home and tinker with the charger again.
If you're planning on getting solar soon, we'd recommend purchasing an E2 Core or E2 Plus, as these come with solar smarts built in.
Yes. A registered Evnex installer handles the full job, from switchboard checks to mounting and testing the charger. You'll get an itemised quote upfront so you know exactly what's covered.
Every Evnex charger comes with a 4-year warranty, longer than most because we stand by our New Zealand engineering.
It's a built-in safety feature that monitors your home's total power draw and manages charging accordingly, so your Polestar never puts your switchboard at risk.
