Evnex X22 (trade)
RRP is $1,995 including GST.
The Evnex X22 is a three-phase, 22kW charger ideal for customers looking to charge as quickly as possible at home.
Use cases:
- Customers with three-phase supply.
- Vehicles that are capable of charging faster than 7kW or customers who want to future-proof their installation.
- Wi-Fi, 4G, or ethernet connectivity must be available.
- Choice of two colours — Stone or Snow.
The X22 has either a 5m tethered or a socket option. Should your installation require a longer tether, you can purchase an additional charge cable up to 10m and purchase our socket option.
The X22 can add up to 120km of range per hour of charge (this is based on a vehicle able to charge at 22kW, such as the Polestar 4). Confirm with your customer the vehicle they have purchased and its maximum charging speed before suggesting range added per hour of charge.

- Comprehensive support — our support team is in New Zealand and can connect to chargers remotely to assist with account setup, commissioning, and charger settings for you and your customers.
- Tesla API – state of charge will be included in reporting. You can see it in action here. Please note the X22 does not have the charge flap opening feature.
- Multi-charger load management — the X22 can share available supply across multiple Evnex chargers.
- You can deep dive on our features in the Evnex Knowledge Hub.
Connectivity
- All Evnex chargers require connection to our cloud once every 28 days
- This connectivity allows drivers to control their charger and uploads diagnostics so our team can provide exceptional support
- If a charger loses connection for less than 28 days, the charger will function as it has been set up to do
- The X-series has Wi-Fi, 4G, or ethernet connectivity options
Requirements
- Wi-Fi, 4G, or ethernet connectivity
- Important — with vehicles that have three-phase onboard chargers (11kW or above), solar charging will require 4.5kW of export before charging commences. If the vehicle’s onboard charger is single-phase (~7kW) then only 1.5kW is required.
- 32amp circuit + 3 pair, mains rated, overall screened ≥ 0.5mm instrumentation cable
- RCBO — 30mA Type A (C-curve) — must switch the neutral
